God, today we bring to you MLA Mintu Sandhu. Thank you for his heart and his dedication to his community, especially in his mentorship of young people. Continue to guide him with compassion and grace. Strengthen him and help him in all he needs to do. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Mintu Sandhu immigrated to Canada with his family as a teenager and has lived in The Maples for 30 years. In that time, he has volunteered in the community coaching basketball, mentoring young people, fundraising for local schools, and volunteering at the Gurdwara Kalgidhar Darbar temple. Mintu was elected MLA for The Maples in September of 2019 and is the Critic for MPI. Prior to his election he owned a business and held a leadership position at a Winnipeg taxicab company. He’s helped to modernize systems and create good jobs by serving on the provincial Motor Transport Board. Mintu has been married to his wife Inderjit for over two decades and has three children.
