Dear Lord, today we ask that Your hand of guidance be upon MLA Nello Altomare. We pray for the community of Transcona and surround areas in which Nello is representing. We ask Lord, that You would enlighten Nello as he leads in this capacity. We pray for Your guidance and wisdom in his life. We ask that You minister to him in a new way and that he would receive a fresh touch from the masters hand. We ask for a hedge of protection to be around him and his family. As different situations arise I pray that he will know that he is being supported by those who You have placed around him. In Jesus name, Amen……..
Nello and his family have been part of the Transcona community their entire lives and raised two children who attended schools in there. Nello worked for the River East Transcona School Division for his entire 32-year career as both a teacher and school administrator. He coached many sports teams as an educator and managed many of his children’s community club sports teams. Nello continues to be active in his community by playing pickle ball at Oxford Heights and serving his church community at Transcona Memorial United Church. Nello was raised by Italian immigrants and attended Central School, Westview, John W. Gunn and graduated from Transcona Collegiate in 1981. Nello holds a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Winnipeg and a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Educational Administration from the University of Manitoba.
