MLA Nicholas Milliken, Calgary-Currie

Father, we ask that you grant Nicholas favour in his role as Deputy Chair of Committees.  As this is his first time in public office, we ask that you create a teachable spirit in him.  Give him ears to hear what you are saying.  Thank you that he uses his experience as lawyer to do pro bono work.  May he continue to find time to support community events and volunteer.  Thank you that his actions showcase his commitment to serve his community. Bless him, his wife and their two children with health and peace.

Nicholas Milliken was elected in 2019 and lives in Calgary-Currie with his wife Christine and their son Eric. Prior to becoming a lawyer and a business owner, Nicholas received a B.A. in Economics, and a B.Com., with distinction, both from the University of Alberta. He then received a law degree from the University of Saskatchewan. After working for an international law firm as a commercial litigator, he started a recruitment company in Calgary-Currie and scaled it up to do business across Canada. Nicholas volunteers with a local charity based in Calgary-Currie that helps integrate new Canadian children into our community through sport, art, music and fellowship. Nicholas served on the UCP Calgary-Currie board as a VP, he sat on the RKHCA development committee and he attends Sacred Heart with his family.
