MLA Nicole Goehring, Edmonton-Castle Downs

Lord, today we thank You for MLA Nicole Goehring and her desire to represent the interests of those residing in Edmonton-Castle Downs. We thank You for her desire to help young people and we ask that You would continue to lead her into areas that will benefit from the gifts and talents that she serves with. Nicole Goehring was elected in 2015 and again in 2019; during her first term she served in the role of Government of Alberta’s Liaison to the Canadian Armed Forces and joined the Edmonton Salutes Committee. Ms. Goehring currently serves as a member of the Special Standing Committee on Members’ Services and the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future. Prior to her election to the Legislative Assembly, Ms. Goehring worked for close to a decade with Child and Family Services in various capacities, including as a caseworker, assessor and, most recently, as a court co-ordinator. She holds a diploma in social work from Grant MacEwan Community College (now known as MacEwan University). Ms. Goehring lives in Edmonton with her three children.
