Today we pray for Ms. Nicole Goehring, MLA for Edmonton-Castle Downs. We pray especially for her work on the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future. Your word says in Proverbs 3, “Honour the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.” Lord, we pray that we would all honour you with our positions and that You guide Ms. Goehring to follow this principle. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Nicole Goehring was elected in 2015 and again in 2019; during her first term she served in the role of Government of Alberta’s Liaison to the Canadian Armed Forces and joined the Edmonton Salutes Committee. Ms. Goehring currently serves as a member of the Special Standing Committee on Members’ Services and the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future. Prior to her election to the Legislative Assembly, Ms. Goehring worked for close to a decade with Child and Family Services in various capacities, including as a caseworker, assessor and, most recently, as a court co-ordinator. She holds a diploma in social work from Grant MacEwan Community College (now known as MacEwan University). Ms. Goehring lives in Edmonton with her three children.
