MLA Nicole Goehring, Edmonton-Castle Downs

Lord, I bring to You Ms. Nicole Goehring in prayer. I pray for protection over her and her children as well as peace for all of them as she works to improve her city of Edmonton and our province. Guide her in her work with our armed forces on post traumatic stress and other pressing issues, as she uses her experience as a social worker in these areas. Thank You so much for equipping her, help her to hear your voice and feel your presence.  In Jesus name, Amen……

Nicole Goehring was elected in 2015 and again in 2019; during her first term she served in the role of Government of Alberta’s Liaison to the Canadian Armed Forces and joined the Edmonton Salutes Committee. Ms. Goehring currently serves as a member of the Special Standing Committee on Members’ Services and the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future. Prior to her election to the Legislative Assembly, Ms. Goehring worked for close to a decade with Child and Family Services in various capacities, including as a caseworker, assessor and, most recently, as a court co-ordinator. She holds a diploma in social work from Grant MacEwan Community College (now known as MacEwan University). Ms. Goehring lives in Edmonton with her three children.
