Dear Jesus, thank You for MLA Nina Krieger, Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General. Thank You for the ways You have been equipping her and preparing her for this job over her many years of service. Would You continue Your good work in her life. Heavenly Father, would You please bless her with wisdom, with integrity, and with love to fulfill the plans You have for her. Thank You for her heart of compassion, justice and equality. We know that these are gifts that You have bestowed upon her and You are using these gifts for Your purposes. Thank You Jesus, Amen.
Nina Krieger was elected as the MLA for Victoria–Swan Lake in 2024 and currently serves as Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General. She previously served as Parliamentary Secretary for Arts and Film. Before entering provincial politics, Nina was the Executive Director of Western Canada’s leading Holocaust museum. She has contributed to anti-racism education initiatives at the provincial, national, and international levels, including serving on the Canadian delegation to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance and on the Inaugural Expert Committee on Countering Radicalization to Violence. Nina holds an honours degree in history from the University of British Columbia, pursued graduate studies in London, and lives with her family in Victoria.
