Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for MLA Paul Choi of Burnaby South–Metrotown and his work as Parliamentary Secretary of Trade. We know the work You have called him to is important and needed in these times. Would You please give him Your wisdom and knowledge to lead British Columbia well and help him to prosper in his work. Give him innovative ideas and help him lead with honour and integrity. We also pray, God, that You would carry his burdens and help guide him in all that he does. We thank You that You are our burden-bearer. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Paul Choi was elected as the MLA for Burnaby South-Metrotown in 2024. Before being elected to the Legislative Assembly, Paul served as a first responder, small business owner, and lawyer. He is a Qualified Mediator and Arbitrator, licensed by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada, and an executive member of the Criminal Justice Section of the Canadian Bar Association. Paul also held leadership roles in Burnaby, including as the President of the Burnaby North Road Business Improvement Association and as a member of the Board of Governors at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Additionally, he served as Vice-Chair of the Registration Committee for the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC. Paul has served on many community advisory committees and his leadership in the business community was recognized when he was awarded the 2020 Young Professional of the Year Award.
