Thank you, Lord, for your goodness and the extensive grace which you offer to help us be the best we can be. Lord, we seek your guidance to direct MP Pete Guthrie’s path. We recognize his contribution which helps improve support for families in our province. We also ask for sustained health and provision for him and his family, and that he be renewed for the Fall session. May he be able to connect very meaningfully with his constituents. We pray in Christ’s name, amen.
Pete Guthrie was elected on April 16, 2019. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts and the Standing Committee on Families and Communities. Prior to his service with the Legislative Assembly, he was a private business owner in the ranching and retail industries for close to 20 years. A professional engineer by trade, he worked for several years in the chemical and manufacturing industries before becoming an entrepreneur. He holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the University of Alberta. He and his wife have two children.
