Father, we bring Mr. Pete Guthrie before you and lay him before you in your throne room. We ask, Father, that you would minister to his heart and may he serve you Lord. We ask you to give him the wisdom and the strategies that he needs as he serves the people of Alberta on the following committees: serving as Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts, Member of the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship. We ask that you would bless Mr. Pete Guthrie, his wife, their children, all Albertans and all of Alberta in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Pete Guthrie was elected on April 16, 2019. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts and the Standing Committee on Families and Communities. Prior to his service with the Legislative Assembly, he was a private business owner in the ranching and retail industries for close to 20 years. A professional engineer by trade, he worked for several years in the chemical and manufacturing industries before becoming an entrepreneur. He holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the University of Alberta. He and his wife have two children.
