Rakhi Pancholi was re-elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for Edmonton-Whitemud on May 29, 2023. She currently serves as Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts. Before entering politics, Ms. Pancholi practised law in Edmonton, specializing in labour, employment, and education law. She has also worked with the Alberta School Boards Association and served as a senior legislative consultant for Alberta Education. Deeply engaged in her community, she has volunteered with ParityYEG, the Canadian Bar Association, HART, and LEAF. A contributing author, her piece Missing a Mentor appears in Truth Be Told: An Anthology of Inspirational Stories by Women in the Law.She lives in south Edmonton with her husband, Owen, their two children, and their two rescue dogs.
