Father, thank you for the leaders you have chosen to lead us in our province. Today, we thank you especially for MLA Ric McIver, and ask that you would bless him today. May his passion and love for his community be reignited today as he works for the people of Calgary-Hays. Give him fresh insight and ideas as to how he can best work for the people of Alberta. Thank you for him Lord. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Ric McIver was first elected in 2012 as the MLA for Calgary-Hays. He was re-elected on May 5, 2015, and again on April 16, 2019. He is a husband and father and has served three terms on Calgary’s City Council. He served on the Police Commission and as chair of the Calgary Housing Company while on Council and is a 12-year volunteer with the Calgary Stampede and supports a variety of charitable causes.
