MLA Richard Feehan, Edmonton-Rutherford

Lord, I bring Mr Richard Feehan to You in prayer. Bless his work in the community of Edmonton-Rutherford. Help him to use his talents and experience in social work and with the Indigenous community to further Your kingdom. I pray for strength and wisdom for Richard in the coming months and strength for his family as well. Thank You for his service and his life, in Jesus name I pray, Amen……..

Richard spent over a decade teaching with the Edmonton branch of the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Social Work. Prior to this he was Program Director of the Edmonton Social Planning Council and the Vice-President of Edmonton’s Catholic Social Services. He also spent over a decade in private social work practice. As Minister of Indigenous Relations, Richard worked with Alberta‚Äôs Indigenous communities to begin fulfilling the United Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Richard holds a Masters of social work from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of social work from the University of Calgary, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta. Richard was born and raised in Edmonton and he lives in the south side with his wife and three children.
