MLA Ronald Orr, Lacombe-Ponoka

We thank you, Lord, for Ronald Orr, whom You placed in the Alberta Legislature to represent Alberta and all Albertans. We ask, Lord, that you would give him wisdom, strategies, blueprints from the legislative office of Heaven. From the courtroom of Heaven, so that he can fulfil his responsibilities in the committees that he sits on. May he use his influence as an ordained minister to pray for the future of Alberta and for his colleagues who represent the members of our legislature who govern this province. May he take ground for Alberta from a Heavenly perspective. Bless Ronald Orr, his wife Donna Marie, and their three children. Keep them protected under your wings, angels of protection, divine health and prosperous in everything they do. In Jesus name, Amen……

Ronald Orr was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Lacombe-Ponoka on May 5, 2015, and was re-elected on April 16, 2019. Mr. Orr previously served as deputy chair, and currently serves as the chair of the Standing Committee on Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund. He has a master’s degree in theology and is an ordained minister. He also holds a journeyman carpenter’s ticket and a registered housing professional certificate and has previously owned a general contracting business. His community involvement includes board positions with a number of charitable organizations, including the Gull Lake Centre and Calgary’s Mustard Seed Society. He also served as a public information officer for the municipal emergency management team for the village of Clive, Alberta. Mr. Orr was born in Calgary and has lived in Lacombe-Ponoka for 13 years. He and his wife, Donna Marie, have three children.
