MLA Searle Turton, Spruce Grove-Stony Plain

Lord hear our prayer for MLA Searle Turton, we ask that you would give him the wisdom and the strategies that he needs to fulfil his duties on the following committees, in the Alberta Legislature , as a member of the Standing Committee on Privileges and Elections,  Standing Orders and Printing. We also ask, Lord, that you would bless Searle Turton, his wife Amy and their two children, Aiden and Xavier. Bless his constituents in the Spruce Grove/Stoney Plain area. Bless all Albertans and all of Alberta in Jesus name. Amen.…….

Searle Turton was elected in 2019 and is a member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts, the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship and the Standing Committee on Privileges and Elections, Standing Orders and Printing. Prior to serving with the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Turton was a three-term city councillor for Spruce Grove. He has also worked in technology sales and implementing document control systems for Ricoh Canada, and prior to this as a tradesman in construction. A lifelong volunteer, he has served as a director of the Spruce Grove public library board, chairman of the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre as well as trustee for the Alberta Regional Council of Carpenters and Allied Workers, local 1325. He and his wife Amy and their two children, live in Spruce Grove. In his spare time he enjoys playing board games, reading, travelling, skiing and playing volleyball, soccer, tennis and pickleball.
