Lord we lift up and bring before You Shane Getson. We thank You Lord for allowing him to serve on the Standing Committee of the Legislative Assembly, including Resource Stewardship, and the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund. Thank You Father, that You have given him wisdom to fulfill his duties in each and everyone of these committees. Continue to move in his heart and in his life giving him strategies, wisdom, and instruction in everything that he does. Bless Shane Getson, his wife and their four children. Shane Getson was elected on April 16, 2019. He currently serves on standing committees of the Legislative Assembly, including Resource Stewardship and the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund. Prior to serving with the Legislative Assembly he spent 15 years in the construction industry, most recently in the position of project director. Prior to this he worked from 2008 to 2012 as senior manager of planning and execution for a private company in the energy sector. He attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), where he received a diploma in civil engineering technology in 1996. He and his wife have four children.
