Steve Thomson was re-elected as MLA for Kelowna-Mission in 2017. He served as Speaker in June 2017, during the First Session of the 41st Parliament. Steve is currently the Official Opposition Co-Critic for Citizens’ Services and Trade, and sits on the Select Standing Committee on Aboriginal Affairs. He has a great love of sports and had a long career in rugby, which included the opportunity to play for the Canadian National Rugby Team. Steve is a husband, father and grandfather. He is married to Brenda and together they have three children and five grandchildren
