MLA Ted Marcelino, Tyndall Park

Lord, thank You for MLA Ted Marcelino, two term representative for Tyndall Park. Thank You for his desire to see children and young people in Manitoba rise to their full potential. Bless him and his family as they seek to serve this area of Manitoba. Amen…….

Ted studied law at the University of the Philippines and worked as a municipal and litigation attorney in Manila before immigrating to Canada with his family in 1980.  He worked with the federal government for ten years, and also served as a panel member of the Residential Tenancies Commission of Manitoba. There he helped to ensure fairness and due process in disputes between landlords and tenants. Before he was first elected as the MLA for Tyndall Park in 2011, Ted was well-known for his volunteer work helping new Canadians with nominee applications and at the Immigration and Refugee Board. As MLA for Tyndall Park, Ted has worked hard to ensure all families have more opportunities in their home community, including new basketball courts, chess tournaments, and renovating the Weston Memorial Community Centre. Ted and Corie, his wife of more than 40 years, are blessed with ten grandchildren and have one more on the way. On March 6, 2019 Ted became Critic for Agriculture and Housing.
