MLA Tyler DesRoches

Our Father in Heaven, we give You thanks for our elected representatives. Today, we pray for Tyler DesRoches as he serves the people of Summerside-Wilmot, as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island. Lord, give Mr. DesRoches wisdom from above—wisdom that is pure, peace-loving, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruit. Help him serve with humility, integrity, patience, and courage, seeking what is good, just, and faithful. As Government Whip, give him steadiness and fairness. Help him encourage cooperation and respectful conduct in the Legislature, and may his words and actions build trust and promote peace. As Vice Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts, guide him in the work of accountability and careful stewardship. May he value truth, transparency, and the responsible use of public resources for the good of Islanders. As he serves on the Standing Committee on Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, give him discernment in matters affecting Prince Edward Island’s land, water, agriculture, fisheries, energy, and environment. Help him pursue wise stewardship of Your creation for present and future generations. We also pray for his observing role with Education and Economic Growth. Give him a heart for children, families, workers, businesses, and communities across the Island, supporting opportunities that build strong communities and a hopeful future. Father, thank You for Mr. DesRoches’ years of service to his community. May that spirit of service continue to shape his work in public life. Bless and strengthen his family, guard his heart from weariness and pride, and give him joy as he serves. May he do justice, love faithfulness, and walk humbly before You. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
