Lord, we ask that you would touch Wab Kinew with your love and peace. Let him hear your voice of wisdom and encouragement to share and bring change. Lead him in the best ways to meet the needs of his constituency and all of Manitoba. Thank you for your protection over him and his family. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Wab Kinew is the Leader of the Manitoba New Democratic Party and was re-elected to represent Fort Rouge in 2019. Before entering politics, he was a musician, broadcaster and university administrator, best known as a host of programming on CBC Radio an CBC Television. He graduated from the University of Winnipeg Collegiate and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Manitoba. Kinew is married to Lisa, a family physician who practices medicine at an inner-city clinic, and has two sons from a previous relationship.
