O God, our Father, as we reflect today on the vastness of our land, and the many and varied issues that face our nation, we pray with gratitude for individuals who have answered the high calling to public service. Specifically, today we pray for three valiant men who serve as Members of Parliament: MP John Barlow, representing the constituency of Foothills (Alberta); MP Yvan Baker, representing the constituency of Etobicoke Centre (Ontario); and MP Luc Berthold, representing the constituency of Mégantic—L’Érable (Québec). We pray that you would bless John, Yvan, and Luc with clarity of mind and heart as they seek to make decisions which result in the enrichment of life for the people they have been elected to represent, as well as for all Canadians. We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

O Dieu, notre Père, alors que nous réfléchissons aujourd’hui à l’immensité de notre terre et aux problèmes nombreux et variés auxquels notre nation est confrontée, nous prions avec gratitude pour les personnes qui ont répondu à l’appel élevé du service public.
