MPP Andrea Khanjin, Barrie-Innisfil

Father, we bring Andrea Khanjin to your throne today. We are thankful for this young woman who has worked hard to prepare herself to serve in the capacity of Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of the Environment. Lord, we’re mindful of criticisms she may face and we ask that you would support her by sending encouraging voices and a team of supportive helpers. We pray that you will guide her in all decisions, personal and professional (Jeremiah 31:3). ……..

Andrea immigrated to Canada when she was four years old with her grandparents, they settled in Barrie. Andrea graduated with honours from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. As a student, Andrea was a constituency assistant for a Conservative MP in which taught her how to cut through the government red tape. Andrea’s care and desire to help create a better community and habitat landed her the title of Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. In 2018, Andrea was elected in the Barrie-Innisfil riding. She lives in Innisfil with her fiancé Kevin.
