God in heaven, today we lift up to you in prayer MPP Andrea Khanjin. We thank you for her youthful energy and wisdom beyond her years. As she serves in the legislature as a Parliamentary Assistant and in her riding of Barrie—Innisfil, would you grant her incredible insight. Blind her eyes to lesser things and give her a laser focus on the priorities that will best serve her riding and her province. Watch over her and protect her. Guide her and bless her in all that she does. Give her and her husband times of solid rest and rejuvenation in the midst of her hard work. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, amen!
Andrea immigrated to Canada when she was four years old with her grandparents, they settled in Barrie. Andrea graduated with honours from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. As a student, Andrea was a constituency assistant for a Conservative MP in which taught her how to cut through the government red tape. Andrea’s care and desire to help create a better community and habitat landed her the title of Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. In 2018, Andrea was elected in the Barrie-Innisfil riding. She lives in Innisfil with her husband Kevin.
