Father, it is a privilege to bring our requests to You in prayer. Today, we are mindful to pray for MPP Catherine Fife, who serves the constituents of Waterloo. We are thankful for her many years of service with the school board and in her representative role as MPP. Her love for children and the work she has done on their behalf are appreciated by many Ontarians. No one is capable of serving others in this capacity without Your help, so we are thankful that You are always willing to help our political leaders when they call on You. Father, give MPP Fife a true love for her constituents, even those who may give her difficulty. You have chosen her to fill this role. May she be mindful to have the mind of Christ as she goes about her duties. As her role requires both physical and mental strength, we pray that You would bless her life with the energy and resilience needed to carry out her role as MPP. Bless her also with precious quiet time and space for rest and reflection. (John 15:16–17). In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
