Heavenly Father, we thank you for MPP Dave Smith. Today, we pray over his life the peace of God. In his role of serving the people of Peterborough-Kawartha, we ask that all of his life would be marked with abiding, inexpressible joy that would spread into the lives of those around him. Please allow positive transformation to occur in the life of each and every person influenced by Dave and his team. These things we pray in Jesus’ name, amen.
Elected in 2018, Dave spent most of his childhood growing up in Prince Edward County. He moved to Peterborough in 1989 to attend Trent University and decided to make it his permanent home. Dave has worked with both the Trillium Lakelands District School Board and Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. He is currently a member of the Kinsmen Club of Peterborough. Dave has a Bachelor of Science in Computing Systems from Trent University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Fredericton. He joined Cardinal Software in 2006, as the Manager of Product Development .
