MPP David Piccini, Northumberland-Peterborough South

Father in Heaven, today we lift up David Piccini and those in his riding of Northumberland – Peterborough South. We thank you for the hard work that David puts in day in and day out. Bless him for his service and give him all that he needs Lord to do the job that you have called him to. We ask for a blessing on the people in his riding, and for health and strength for David as he helps to lead the people of Ontario through this pandemic and on to economic recovery. David Piccini currently serves as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Colleges and Universities and is a member of the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs. David grew up in Port Hope and has an honours degree from the University of Ottawa, where he earned a joint degree in Political Science and History. David embarked on a career with the Federal Public Service, first gaining experience as an International Market Analyst at Agriculture Canada promoting Ontario’s agriculture to global markets. He then transitioned to a position as a Policy Advisor at Service Canada. In 2015 David was invited to join the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. David’s portfolio included providing strategic advice in regards to a full range of policy, business and operational issues pertaining to the Royal College’s international activities. David is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys Ontario’s natural wonders with his dog, Max.
