Lord, we lift up MPP David Smith before You as he serves the people of Scarborough Centre, especially in his work on energy and in his care for how public resources are stewarded. You see the responsibility he carries in decisions that affect families, workers, and communities across Ontario, including the cost of living that presses on so many households. Give him wisdom where things are complex and a steady hand where the pressure is heavy. Keep his integrity firm and his heart rooted in genuine care for the people he represents. Surround him with wise counsel and faithful support. And Lord, watch over his home and his family. Fill it with Your peace and give him rest in demanding seasons. Through his leadership, bring lasting good and opportunity to the people he serves. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
