MPP Gilles Bisson, Timmins

Lord today we pray for Gilles. We thank you Lord for people like him that care deeply for their people and devote a life of service. We honour him and his many years as MPP. We pray for him and his roles as Chair, Standing Committee on Government Agencies and  Critic, Community Safety and Correctional Services and Member, Select Committee on Emergency Management Oversight. We pray for a fresh vision and passion for the role of MPP. We ask this all in Jesus’ name. Amen

First elected in 1990 in the former riding of Cochrane South, Gilles Bisson has served the people of Timmins for 28 years. He is currently the Member, Select Committee on Emergency Management Oversight, the Chair, Standing Committee on Government Agencies and the Critic, Community Safety and Correctional Services. Formerly the House Leader for Ontario’s Official Opposition, Gilles has championed many causes and developed a reputation for working tirelessly on behalf of his constituents. A lifelong resident of Timmins, Gilles and wife Murielle have made the city their home for the last 41 years, and are the proud parents of daughters Julie Bisson-Gardner and Natalie Bisson-Wakeford, as well as devoted grandparents of Nathaniel, Victoria, Elissa, and Eva.​​​
