Lord Jesus, we lift up MPP Guy Bourgouin to you today. Bless him and keep him, we ask in Jesus name. May he serve the people in this new year with a generous, compassionate, and kind heart. Thank you for his willingness to serve and provide good leadership. May Guy find instruction and wisdom from you as he continues to stand and advocate for First Nations. Guy was first elected in 2018 and is currently the Critic for Francophone Affairs and for Training, Trades and Apprenticeships. For over 20 years, Guy has been working on behalf of workers with the United Steelworkers Local 1-2010. He has a diverse range of experience working in the forestry, sawmill, plywood mill, health, hardware store, housekeeping, and social services sectors across northern Ontario. He has spent most of his career lobbying all levels of government for changes that benefit workers. Born in Northern Ontario and of Métis descent, he has been living in Kapuskasing for over 20 years with his wife and two children.
