Lord, today we pray for Jennie Stevens and thank you for her willingness to serve the people of St. Catherines. We pray for her and her role as Critic, Veterans, Legions and Military Affairs. Help her to collaborate well with the government that the people represented in her file will be blessed and further ahead. Bless her family. We ask this all in Jesus name. Amen.
Jennie is a long time Merritton-St. Catharines City Councillor, a board member of the Niagara Folk Arts Multicultural Centre and a life-long St. Catharines resident. Jennie served on the front line staff at the Hotel Dieu Shaver. She was elected in June 2018 as NDP MPP for St. Catharines and is the first woman to ever hold the seat. Prior to her successful 2018 election, Jennie also served on the St. Catharines Budget Committee, the Merritton Athletic Association, and the board of the Niagara Folk Arts Multicultural Centre. As a member of the Official Opposition at Queens Park, Jennie is the Critic for Veterans, Legions and Military Affairs.
