MPP Jim Wilson, Simcoe—Grey

Our God, we are holding up MPP Jim Wilson in prayer for his many years of diligent service to Ontarians in a variety of portfolios and positions. We are thankful for his wide range of experience and his representation of the people of Simcoe-Grey. We pray for his health and well-being, and for his family life. We ask that your guidance is there to bring his talent and energy in continued service of his constituents. Amen.

Currently the longest-serving Member, alongside two other MPPs, Wilson was first elected to the Ontario Legislature in 1990. At Queen’s Park, Jim has served as Ontario’s Minister of Health; Minister of Energy, Science and Technology; Minister of Northern Development and Mines; Minister of the Environment. He has also served as an interim party leader as well as House Leader and Leader of the Opposition. Jim currently sits in the House as an Independent Member.
