Father thank you for Joe Dickson and the many responsibilities and positions he has had within the liberal government. He has displayed experience and care within his local riding both in the school board, as councilor, deputy-mayor, and now MPP level. Thank you for the relationship he has built with his constituents. We ask you would use this man, that you would use his heart, to improve the lives of Ontarians. We thank you for how his heart has led him to care for people by raising finances for those in need within his local community. He is deeply respected and has earned this respect. Help him to continue to focus on what is most important, what first drove him to become involved with politics and with leadership in his community. Help him to continue to focus on caring for the improving of the lives of people and doing all he can to see this happen. We thank you for his family and we ask that you would lead them all in the purpose to which you have created them and to a personal encounter and relationship with you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
In 2014, Joe Dickson was re-elected for a third term as the MPP of Ajax-Pickering and appointed Ontario’s Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister Responsible for Northern Development & Mines (Including the Ring of Fire). The Premier added the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Natural Resources and Foresty in 2016. He has lived in Ajax his entire life with his wife of 51 years, Donna. They are proud to have two grown children, Jim (Elaine) and Joanna (David) and 5 grandchildren.
