Lord, today we pray for John Fraser, the MPP for Ottawa South. We pray that you would help him in his role of representing the people of Ottawa and in his role as Vice-Chair, Standing Committee on Regulations and Private Bills. Help him as he works with other MPPs in his party and all over Queens Park to advance the work of seeing Ontario move ahead. We pray for safe travelling mercies as he travels back and forth from Ottawa to Queen’s Park. Help him to represent the people of his riding and be a good MPP that the residents of Ottawa south will be blessed. We pray a blessing on his family as they share him with the people of Ontario. We ask this all in Jesus name. Amen.
John Fraser is the Member of Provincial Parliament for Ottawa South, Critic for Health and Long-Term Care, Intergovernmental Affairs, Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and Interim Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party. He was born and raised in Elmvale Acres and Alta Vista, and has been an active volunteer, spearheading the “Our Children, Our Hospital” campaign to save the Cardiac Care Unit at CHEO (the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario) and organized a fundraiser for the Heron Road Emergency Food Bank. John is married to his high school sweetheart, Linda, and they have three grown children and three grandchildren.
