Heavenly Father, I want to thank You for the life and unique design of MPP Kevin Yarde. Thank You for the role You have given him to steward in this new season. Thank You for the heart he has for the community in North Brampton. I pray that You would guide him as makes decisions that will bless his constituents. Father, I pray that You would grant Mr. Yarde wisdom and understanding in all matters pertaining to his new responsibilities. I pray that You bless him and his family as he lives according to Your plans.
Kevin Yarde was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in 2018 and serves as a Critic on the Community Safety and Correctional Services, Deputy Opposition Whip and member of the Standing Committee on Justice Policy. He was born in Toronto, but has “longtime family roots in Brampton”. Prior to the election Kevin was a former television meteorologist, a member of the US-based National Association of Black Journalists and also a volunteer with the Toronto location of Covenant House, a shelter and support centre for homeless and at-risk youth.
