Heavenly Father, today we come to You to thank You for those who have chosen to spend their time and use their talents in public service. We thank You for MPP Laurie Scott, who faithfully serves the people of the Kawartha area. Will You give her and her staff a restful summer recess as the pace of work changes and she serves in her riding? Protect her each and every day, and fill her heart with the peace that passes all understanding. Let the living water of Your Spirit nourish and refresh her soul. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
