Heavenly Father, we thank you for Lorne Coe and his long history of faithful civil service to the residents of the Whitby area. We are grateful for his passion for such things as health care, mental health, seniors care, accessibility for people of all abilities, and education. In his advocacy for the last, the least, and the left out, we thank You that he displays Kingdom values that reflect Your Father’s heart. We ask that you would abundantly bless Lorne as he continues to serve the people of Whitby, and give a great blessing to his family as they support him in this role. In Jesus’ name, we ask that you would show him Your great loving kindness and that you would continue to draw him toward Your purposes for him. Amen.
Lorne Coe and his family have called Whitby home for over 30 years. Lorne was elected as the MPP for the riding of Whitby-Oshawa, in a by-election held on February 11th, 2016. At Queen’s Park, Lorne serves as the Official Opposition Critic for Education and Post Secondary Education and as a Member of the Standing Committee on Social Policy.
