MPP Norm Miller, Parry Sound-Muskoka

O Lord, most high, great King of the heavens, I bless Your name.  I’m asking for the blessing of grace upon MPP Norm Miller.  I thank You for giving Mr. Miller as a blessing to Parry Sound-Muskoka.  I ask that all that You have planned for this riding will be accomplished through him. Let every blessing under heaven rest on Norm, his wife and children, his friends, associates and co-workers.  Father, You know the paths we are to take in order to improve life in Ontario, and I ask that Mr. Miller’s plans for the riding align with Your plans.  Praise the Lord. Amen…..

Norm Miller was first elected to represent the riding of Parry Sound-Muskoka in a by-election on March 22, 2001, and re-elected in general elections in October 2003, October 2007 and October 2011, and June 2014. While in opposition Norm has been the PC Critic for a variety of portfolios including Natural Resources, Aboriginal Affairs and Research and Innovation, and Finance. He also served as Chief Opposition Whip for 6 years and sat on the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs. For 25 years, together with his wife, Christine and their four children, owned and operated a lodge on Lake Muskoka. Norm is also past President of Muskoka Tourism, past Director and Treasurer of Resorts Ontario and is a strong advocate for economic growth and tourism in the Parry Sound-Muskoka area.
