Dear LORD, we bring before You Dr. Rima Berns-McGown. Thank You for Dr. Rima’s life, experiences, and training which will give her an important understanding and input for social justice causes. May Dr. Rima’s mind and presence be a gift to the government of Ontario and to this province. Speak through Dr. Rima at the right moment for the right cause. Give her grace, wisdom, and discernment. Her history in South Africa and Apartheid —is a history that You Lord will use to help our provincial parliament govern righteously. Bless Lord, her partner David and their adult children. Rima and her partner David have lived in Beaches–East York for 25 years, where they raised their four kids. You can spot their dogs Eliot and Kuma walking along Martin Goodman Trail. Dr. Rima Berns–McGown holds a PhD in International Politics. A respected author, researcher, and former University of Toronto professor, she currently works with directors and executives to tackle systemic racism in boardrooms across Canada.
