MPP Sol Mamakwa, Kiiwetinoong

Heavenly Father, like a tree planted by the river that grows tall and strong and flourishes, we ask you to bless and nourish MPP Sol Mamakwa. May he receive all that he needs today to do the work you have called him to do. Bless his family and all the people that he serves in the beautiful North of our great Province. Sol Mamakwa was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in the 2018 provincial election. He is a Kingfisher Lake band member and a resident of Sioux Lookout who speaks and understands Oji-Cree. Sol is Co-chair of the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre and has also been actively involved with the Sioux Lookout First Nation Health Authority, Sioux Lookout Physicians Regional Services, and the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. As the lead health advisor for the Nishnawbe-Aski Nation, Sol has worked alongside federal and provincial representatives to transform the way health care is delivered to the NAN territory by improving service delivery throughout the riding.
