Father, it is a privilege to pray for the leaders of our provincial legislature. Today, we remember MPP Stephen Blais who has given many years to serve his community and province. We ask for a keen sense of Your holy presence in his life. You are the source of all wisdom and we’re grateful that Your door is always open to us. We ask that You guide MPP Blais in making decisions that affect the citizens of Ontario. Lord, since all people serve under Your leadership, we ask that MPP Blais would feel the nudge of Your Holy Spirit guiding him. Lord Jesus, we note the prayer that You prayed to the Father for Your servants, and we pray the same for him – deliver him from evil. We ask for continued health for MPP Blais. We ask for a blessing on his family. Father, we are aware of the difficulties every MPP faces and we’re asking that You put a protective guard around him, lead him in the way of righteousness and use his life to bless others. (John 15:26). In Jesus’ name. Amen.
