Lord, we thank you for this opportunity that we have and the freedom to vote on October 21. Lord God, give us wisdom and discernment; give us spiritual enlightenment that we may understand your plan and your will for this Election and in the years to come in the politics of Canada.
Lord, we pray that we may be disposed to do your will and that the leaders that will take office will have a fear of your name. We also pray for the leaders of each province. We pray that they will be disposed to honour you, to respect your values and that they would be impacted by your Word and by the work of the Holy Spirit in Canada.
May Your kingdom come, Your will be done, and may you be glorified! Work in the heart of our nation so that our leaders will honour You. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!”
