MPP Kathleen Wynne, Don Valley West

Lord, today we lift up Kathleen Wynne in prayer. We thank You, Lord, for her years of experience and her heart for the people of Ontario. We ask You to continue to walk with her through every challenge, every choice, every decision as she works in her current role. Grant her courage, Lord, as she works on behalf of her constituents; grant her courage to be bold and honest in her relationships both personal and professional. Guide the works of her hands, in Jesus name, Amen……..

Kathleen Wynne was Ontario’s 25th Premier. She was first elected to the Ontario legislature in 2003 as the MPP for Don Valley West, and she became the leader of the Ontario Liberal Party in January, 2013. Kathleen has served as Ontario’s Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs, Minister of Transportation, Minister of Education and Minister of Agriculture and Food.  Kathleen has served as a Public School Trustee in Toronto. She has led citizens’ groups in a number of grassroots community projects, and has played a major role as an organizer and facilitator. Kathleen has three adult children, Chris, Jessie and Maggie, and three grandchildren, Olivia, Claire and Hugh. She and her partner Jane have lived in North Toronto for more than 25 years.
