Lord God, we pray for Robert Mitchell as he leads his party in a season of change. Help him through any times of discouragement and give him the wisdom needed to make his party an effective opposition in government. May he exercise influence that promotes what is just and good in this province. Lord, Your Word says, “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9) We pray that, as a leader in our province, Mr. Mitchell will learn to lean on the One who establishes our steps. Richly bless his family life, and may they also be a source of blessing to him. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
