Dear Lord, we pray that as Robert goes about his new duties as Liberal leader, he would be diligent and fair-minded in his relationships within his party and with Islanders in general. We pray, Lord, that he would use his notable skills exhibited in the past to their full extent and that he would be honest and transparent in his dealings with others. We pray, Lord, that You would give him wisdom in all things relating to P.E.I. and that he would lead others to the best of his ability. We pray that Robert and his family would grow closer to You each day and that You would keep them all in good health. We pray this in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
Robert Mitchell was born and raised in Fort Augustus, Prince Edward Island, and completed his education at Fort Augustus Consolidated School, Charlottetown Rural High School, and Holland College. Before entering public life, he worked primarily as a lineman with Maritime Electric, contributing to electrical infrastructure across the province and assisting with restoration efforts in other regions of North America. He has also owned a small business in Charlottetown and worked in real estate. More recently, he served as General Manager of H-Line Enterprises, a powerline construction company operating in Atlantic Canada. His career reflects experience in skilled trades, business ownership, and management.
