Heavenly Father, we acknowledge You as Lord and come before You today with thanksgiving and praise. Today we lift up Senator Mary Robinson, that she may experience Your presence, peace, and empowerment in her life. Thank You for her willingness to serve, for her capacity to contribute, and for the opportunities You have given her. As she serves on the committees for Human Rights and for Agriculture and Forestry, we pray for wisdom in addressing these important issues. Lord, we know that human rights are close to Your heart, as we are called to treat others with compassion and the dignity they deserve as Your image-bearers. We also recognize the importance of agriculture to our province. So we pray for the Honourable Mary Robinson as she carries out these responsibilities. Above all, we pray that she would know the hope and love of the Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
