Senator Mary Robinson was appointed to the Senate in 2024 as one of four senators from Prince Edward Island. We appreciate her interest in promoting food security in a world where so many people suffer from hunger. Her extensive background in food production through her experience in a family farming enterprise will undoubtedly help her in this. We also note her interest in promoting world peace through participation in various initiatives that aim to make progress in that direction. We pray for strength and endurance as she works to fulfill her duties and objectives while balancing life as a wife and mother. Lord, give her clarity of mind and the endurance to be diligent and persistent in the pursuit of these goals. We pray that Mary would continue to serve the people of her riding and the nation with complete diligence and integrity, while bringing sober second thought to the legislation brought before the Senate. These things we pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
